Four weeks have passed, the overload is passed too, “So May We Start”© Again.
What exactly is the purpose of this site? Fame, money in the future? To be honest, yes, of course, it would be nice to get both. However, the main purpose of this site’s existence is different. It’s not even about creating a textbook on “New Physics,” as many advise – a physics textbook that integrates astrophysics, cosmology, the motion of material bodies in space-time, gravity, the standard model, classical, and quantum physics into a unified whole. It’s not even about achieving the ability to create Vimanas in modern times, although this is truly important (so much so that the site is named precisely that – https://vimanas.pro/). As has been (and will be) shown on this site, theoretical and applied physics still has a number of gaps and omissions, relating to both theory and practice. A number of such gaps have been found, but there’s a non-zero probability that this number is final. I hope some of you will find them. As an illustration of what has been said, I offer a bonus – a description of the CP method (“for the poor”).
Among the materials suitable for devices utilizing superadditivity of gravity, such as graphene, silicene, and germanene, the latter is preferable. Stanene, plumbene, or other single-layer materials may also be suitable. It’s extremely difficult to say at this point which material will be best. In any case, such a material should allow some device to quickly reduce and/or restore the previous transverse dimensions of Vimanas Nextday. Such a device is much simpler and, most importantly, it will appear much sooner than devices for the CA and CB methods can be created. Let’s assume that a starship mass 200,000 tons is launched into Earth orbit, half of which is controlled by a “poor man’s” device. Naturally, a starship has some velocity (insignificant for interstellar flight). This means that its longitudinal dimensions are slightly smaller than its transverse dimensions. By partially activating the “poor man’s device,” the transverse dimensions of the starship will become equal to its longitudinal dimension. In other words, the starship will stop (it’s not worth letting it get to that point). By maintaining a long-term balance between the reduction of the longitudinal size (adding additional energy/momentum) and the reduction of the transverse dimensions by the “poor man’s device,” we obtain 130,000 tons of matter exactly equal in properties to ancient solar matter. The energy required to create this matter is enormous, monstrously enormous – on the order of 0.3⋅10^25 Joules. Where to get it, in what form to produce it, and how long it will take is a question of applied science/engineering. The answer to the question of why the starship’s payload is assumed to weigh 100,000 tons is simple. A visual speed of 0.6 light is 15 years round trip to Proxima; this mass is optimal for an advanced reconnaissance/exploration starship (and completely insufficient for a colony ship by at least three orders of magnitude). Of course, the payload could be reduced to 500 tons, but then the ISS would be stranded instead of an advanced reconnaissance/exploration starship. I’ve already mentioned the advantages of this method of travel. Acceleration and deceleration are simply the deactivation and activation of a “poor man’s” device, which doesn’t consume significant amounts of matter. Of course, there is a small energy/matter consumption, which is the cost of maintaining all the reconnaissance/exploration starship systems in working order. And finally, after the advent of devices for CA and CB methods, a CP-class (“poor man’s”) starship will still be in demand for flights within the Solar System.
